An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven, focussed and enthusiastic Marketing Communications Executive to join a Communications team in Sheffield for a well known construction company. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Marketing Commuincations and is responsible for brand stewardship and delivering various marketing communications plans, working as part of a large Communications team and ensuring that high quality service is delivered to all stakeholders.

Accountabilities:

  • Deliver the corporate marketing communications plan
  • Support the delivery of business unit marketing communications plans
  • Identify, research and implement marketing communications best practice
  • Produce high quality content for external communications materials
  • Develop and manage photography library
  • Develop and manage video library
  • Work closely with all communications team members, providing support as necessary across all areas of work

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively communicate comprehensive brand guidance to targeted audiences, providing advice and support as necessary
  • With the Marketing Communications team, develop appropriate processes, guidance and templates to ensure all business unit marketing communications opportunities are maximised
  • Produce a range of printed and online materials including brochures, case studies and web content.
  • Ensure appropriate tender design support is provided
  • Write and edit content for external communications materials
  • Organise photoshoots and filming sessions, working closely with Communications Business Partners
  • Support the organisation and planning of various external events including exhibitions and conferences

The following qualities/experience are essential:

  • Proven track record in a similar role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well within a team and with others at all levels of the organisation
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and workload

The following qualities/experience are desirable:

  • Hold a relevant qualification to the role such as HNC/degree level education or equivalent
