Working with the Senior Category manager; develop and maintain key and long lasting stakeholder relations for assigned category/initiatives.
Develop and implement leading edge procurement strategies in the assigned categories of spend.
Analysis of internal and external information to develop, maintain and deliver category plan.
Be responsible for delivering sustainable benefits.
Where appropriate lead the operational purchasing team.

Experience Required:

*Developed stakeholder management skills
*Good interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build relationships and influence effectively at senior levels across the business
*Good leader ideally in procurement
*Excellent experience in procurement of the specifically IT assigned category
*Strong commercial skills developed through experience in IT Procurement or Buying function - demonstration of good analysis, negotiation and planning
*Form evidence of the delivery of cost savings in a Procurement or Buying roles
*Good understanding of sourcing, supplier management and procurement processes and policies
*Strong understanding of detailed analysis of complex information
