Quantity Surveyor, Assistant Quantity Surveyor, Civil Engineering, Contract, Lancashire
My Lancashire based client is currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor and an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for initial 3 month contracts.
The purpose of this role is to provide the Technical Management and financial administration of contracts of the Highways/Civil Engineering Group. To assist the senior Quantity surveyor to ensure that the Quantity Surveying team operate in a competent and professional manner providing Quantity Surveying, estimating, Procurement and Financial Reporting services which requires the provision of accurate, timely and confidential data and records.
You will be required to;
- Provide sub-contractor advice, contractual advice and measurement advice
- Provide and assist in contract administration support
- Provide an estimating and subcontractor procurement service
- Assist Operational Managers and their teams in the day to day management of projects
- Provide advice and support to the Senior Quantity Surveyor
- Provide Quantity Surveying assistance to other areas as directed by the Principle Quantity Surveyor
- Provide assistance and comply with all Health and Safety matters
For the Assistant Quantity surveyor role they will consider recent graduates with a related degree or candidates with 1-2 years commercial experience.
