My client, a leading investment bank is looking for a SOX lead with significant experience within financial control and product control.

Responsibilities:
*Work as an effective team lead - Manage and motivate direct reports and the entire team, identifying individual and team development needs, providing coaching and recommend training as may be necessary.
*Manage the team to deliver the SOX compliance testing plan effectively and efficiently.
*Take the lead for planning, design Effectiveness Assessments, and Operational Effectiveness testing
*Manage relationships with the senior stake holders including IT Risk, Product Control and Financial control.
*Liaise with external auditors from planning through delivery of the SOX program to ensure a smooth audit of the SOX controls
*Work closely with teams across the Group to ensure continuous improvement of the SOX process across the entire Group
*Balance Sheet control and IFRS reporting at legal entity.

Requirements:
*Good understanding of the Balance Sheet, as well as IFRS/IAS reporting standards
*Exposure to financial products (especially Rates, FX, Credit products) would be an advantage
*Good system skills (Intermediate/Advanced Excel), Visio and PowerPoint.
*SOX knowledge
*Chartered accountant
*Previous product control experience
*Knowledge of the front to back control environment within Investment banking.
