Job Description

The Change Consultant

  • Aligns and agrees activities with the Change Lead and the Project Manager
  • Fine-tunes, details out, improves (where necessary) and executes the change plan
  • Provides input for and reviews communication materials
  • Proactively discusses and proposes interventions to mitigate Change Management risks
  • Challenges and facilitates the stakeholders in driving the required change: Works towards continuous commitment of the key stakeholders to make the project a success
  • Acts as 'sparring partner' for the Project Manager and the Program Change Lead on project related matters
  • Is fully at ease in working with senior and middle management, but also in working with operators, assemblers and testers
  • Does not only define and steer, but is also focused on the operational aspects of the implementation; has a hands-on mentality
  • Manages and coaches the Project Team on Change-related items.

Educational/Experience Level
The Change Consultant has experience in the role of Change consultant/manager in large implementation projects, in a (preferably technical) manufacturing environment, and has a HBO/WO education level.

Experience:

We are looking for a medior level Change expert who:

  • Has at least experienced all phases in a Change process once
  • Is experienced in planning and managing the Change curve
  • Has knowledge of the most common Change Management theories (eg Kotter, de Caluwe, Johnson, Graves and Hofstede)
  • Has experience in working on projects in a technical discrete industry environment
  • Has experience in IT system implementation and roll-out
  • Has proven coaching experience
  • Has knowledge/experience of (preferably the PRINCE 2) Project Methodology

Personal Skills

- Able to convince, inspire and motivate people
- Able to effectively cooperate with people on the shop floor up to and including higher management
- Good knowledge of both Dutch and English language
- Strong communication skills (listening, asking the right questions and expression)
- Creative, pragmatic and curious
- Drives to realizing the project's business goals, whatever it takes
