BinaryM is a Code Poet listed WordPress centric agency located in San Diego. We’re looking for a front-end developer with in-depth WordPress experience. This position will works closely in teams and you'll need to be comfortable with that environment. This is initially a freelance position, but can grow into full time.
The right person for this position is someone who takes great pride in their work. You deliver your work on time and find enjoyment in not just completing the task but doing it better than before. You demand respect from your clients and agency partners based on your portfolio but understand trust is earned on a two way road. You want to be a part of a team that you can learn from and that is willing and eager to learn from you.
What We Need Help With
- Coding a WordPress theme from a PSD file
- Extending existing WordPress themes to responsive break points
- Creating custom JavaScript functionality
- Debugging, extending & creating WordPress plugins
- You get the idea…
- In-depth WordPress and JavaScript knowledge relating to front-end development
- Cross-browser, platform and device knowledge as it relates to JavaScript and CSS
- Experience with Git preferred
- Able and willing to engage clients directly and solve problems without instruction
- **Bonus skill set: Ability to apply for this position correctly.**
- We do not care when you work or how you manage your time, just as long as you provide some availability during normal business hours (M-F 9am-5pm Pacific) and deliver work on time.
- Generally everyone on our team works remotely, we have co-working space in San Diego if you're local and it's needed.
