Key accountabilities:
  • Coordinate overall contract triage process within the BioOncology MU to ensure timely contract submission, review and decision by the appropriate contracting group (analyze, communicate, track).
  • Follow up and clear communication with the contract groups, project leads, finance and other stakeholders of shared information, contract status, or any other issues related to an agreement.
  • Ensure that all vendor contracts are assessed to determine if the contract is subject to the managed care vendor assessment process and associated fair market value (FMV) evaluation, and manage relevant contracts through the process.
  • Assist with the identification, implementation and management of process improvement initiatives that may impact triage and/or evaluation of Medical Affairs contracts.

  • Must be able to manage stakeholder relationships and expectations
  • Must have outstanding attention-to-detail and strong organizational skills
  • Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be a proactive individual, who can navigate thru the organization and established processes
  • A minimum of 7 years total work experience with at least 3 or more years relevant experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology or related industries
  • Proficiencies with various contract management systems
  • A quick learner, who can work independently, yet knows when to seek guidance
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding objectives and goals
  • Able to prioritize and can follow through on commitments in a timely manner
  • Proven project and process management skills
  • Strong business/financial acumen: capable of seeing the big picture and understand how contracts and finance tie together
  • Proven capabilities of working with various stakeholders: Legal, Contracting, Finance, Health Economists, Clinicians, Vendors, Administrative Staff, etc.
  • Knowledge and enforcement of healthcare/corporate compliance
  • Good interpersonal and influencing skills: can effectively and quickly establish rapport with all key internal/external partners and stakeholders and influence without authority
  • Good negotiation skills: can drive discussions and decisions toward desired results within and outside of the project team


Education
  • Bachelors Degree required; Graduate Degree a plus
