I currently have a requirement for a contract SAS Team Leader/ Project Manager, to work for a financial services client in Bristol.Location: Bristol
Duration: 3 months +
Rate: circa £400 p/d
Start Date: ASAP
Primarily a Project Manager role but with the requirement of the following skills:
Familiar with SAS v9 and related technologies.
Management of Project Work Packages. Knowledge of Prince or APM methodology.
Familiar with Project Manager tools, including MS Project, ARIaD management, resource planning and project budgets.
Familiar with ETL and Data Warehousing techniques.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ensures compliance with technical standards and may be involved in setting technical standards and guidelines.
Be delivery focused, and proactive in assisting the Development Manager to deliver work packages. Prepare and review full lifecycle documentation to support the DART team development lifecycle. Works closely with business colleagues to understand and shape requirements and solutions.
Mentor other team members in a range of skills and behaviours, to include both technical and development lifecycle best practice.
Deputise for the Development Manager when required.
