Currently, we are seeking individuals to a Data Analyst position with a client in Mt Vernon,Ohio.
JOB SUMMARY:
Performs Data Analysis to provide a comprehensive view of internal and external web security risks by alerting decision makers about potential fraud, unusual Internet traffic patterns and security breaches. Converts data into actionable information to move business security measures from a reactive state to a proactive state. Develops applications for monitoring corporate data and information access.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
1. Integrates systems security monitoring with software API's from multiple vendors.
2. Actively seeks out areas to improve the security of the existing website for desktop and mobile experiences. Implementing new technologies and new approaches where appropriate.
3. Creates documentation for both end user daily usage and technical application maintenance.
4. Provides user training as needed for new and/or modified programs.
5. Communicates status, allocating work across multiple resources, tracks task status and on time within budget completion.
6. Proactively, positively, and constructively supports the client's vision, mission, and quality statements, and the general company direction at all times.
7. Acts as a role model in carrying out job duties assigned within this position. This includes ethical management, strong work ethic, solid communications, creative problem solving, and a focus on getting results.
8. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology or a related field.
2. Proven knowledge of .NET Framework and .NET web application life cycle (C#, .NET API's, .NET Web Services, and WCF).
3. Knowledge of SAML, OpenID protocol, SSO, ADAP, Radius, Active Directory, XHTML, SMTP, DNS and Basic Network Knowledge is preferred.
4. Experience using SQL with the ability to write stored procedures, user defined functions & SQL queries.
5. Must be extremely detailed oriented, reliable, organized and self-motivated.
6. Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
7. Strong project management skills required.
8. Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills required.
