Description

Will work with engineers and designers to prepare complex layouts, designs, details, assemblies, and schematics of components with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
  • Create 2-D and 3D models and drawing packages following parametric and feature-based modelling practices using NX (v7.5)
  • Use Teamcenter's (v8.0) workflow process to check and release drawings and provide revision control
  • Create, check, and revise CAD drawings in compliance with the ASME Y14.5M - 1994 Dimensioning and Tolerancing Standard.
  • Support directing and following up with design team personnel throughout the drawing release/revision process. Support activities that communicate drawing requirements and resolve drawing issues with other functional departments.
  • Collaborate with design team to optimize the design of pressure and vacuum vessels, thermal shielding, magnetic shielding, cryogenic piping, piezoelectric motor support assembly, and assembly tooling.
