Support/Deployment Engineer required - 6 Month Contract- £150 a dayMy client is looking to find a Network/Support/Deployment Engineer to join their expanding team as soon as possible.
Title: Support/Deployment Engineer
Location: Lichfield and surrounding area - Field based (within 30 miles)
The Support/Deployment Engineer will be responsible for the following:
- Hands-on medium scale ICT hardware deployments / roll-out projects
- Software migration (Windows XP to Windows 7, together with floor walking support)
-1st and 2nd line support
- Working individually, or as part of a team
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Previous experience in a contract role
- Hands on installation experience
- Knowledge and experience in deploying and configuring Microsoft Operating Systems, especially Windows XP/7/8 with medium to proficient Windows 7 skills for floor walking support
- Basic hardware diagnostic experience as well as the ability to recognise and resolve common issues in Windows
- Working knowledge of Windows Server including Active Directory & Group Policy
- Fluent spoken and written English skills
- Working knowledge of printing technology, awareness and related discovery work experience is advantageous
A full clean driving licence and a car is required for this role.
You will need to be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, whilst delivering excellent customer service within your role.
