Finance Manager
One of our large Investment Banking clients is looking foe an experienced Finance Manager and subject matter support for mid to large Finance projects across one or more business units, product lines or business processes with focus on Banking application systems conversions and/or interfaces into General Ledger/Finance Reporting systems.
strong SME in Oracle and/or SAP General Ledger, who has good Accounting and analytical skills, and who has at worked on projects in an SME or Business Analyst capacity.
*Apply Bank's project management tools and processes; actively involved in business requirements, design, testing and implementation representing general ledger/finance
*Good understanding of financial statement and accounting concepts; general ledger test environment, system processes/accounting transaction flows, financial data mapping documents and balancing controls
*Supports cross-divisional coordination, facilitation, communication, workgroups, representing Finance Operations/partners
*Develops project team, and Finance business partner relationships
Requirements
Strong experience in operational accounting, finance or related experience
Previous project participation
Solid data manipulation and analysis skills (Excel/Access)
Excellent communication/presentation/facilitation/influencing skills
Accounting/Finance degree and/or professional qualification highly desirable
Experience with Oracle or SAP Financials GL or other ERP system highly desirable
Banking Systems, Investment Banking knowledge
System conversion experience with focus on financial systems
Six Sigma and/or PMBOK training or experience
Professional Certification: CA, ACMA, ACCA, MBA, PMP
Project Manager Experience
Banking Experience
Co - ordinate the project with other divisions and testing - Oracle knowledge would be great
