Systems Support Engineer - Routed Systems - Glasgow - 4 months- CAD
Purpose of Role:
*Provide Engineering Routed Systems training, at elbow support and documentation supplementing efficient and effective business processes.
*To define, investigate and deliver appropriate strategies aligning with business requirements.
*Demonstrate, highlight and justify business benefits derived from alternative use of applied technology.
*To ensure cost effective solutions to all business functions including Engineering, Operations and Planning.
Responsibilities:
*Process development and governance relating to Routed Systems Disciplines.
*Establish and maintain strategies aligned with schematic diagrams and 3D modelling alignment.
*Investigation and solution relating to the use of multi discipline composite teams within the Engineering environment.
*Ensure best practice is being observed and applied within the Engineering 3D modelling environment.
*Delivery of at elbow and telephone support associated with various applications including Foran, Tribon & Cadds 5.
*Creation and maintenance of associated documentation for Routed Systems Process Instructions, User Guides and Training manuals.
*Investigation and solution to facilitate Engineering aspirations to reduce modelling effort whilst maintaining appropriate information to production.
Requirements:
*Experience with interfacing and coordination between Engineering and related supplementary functions to establish and validate key requirements.
*Experience in Multi CAD Environments including Foran, Tribon, Cadds 5 and AutoCAD.
*Working knowledge in the use of programming languages such as Unix, SQL and Oracle.
*Educated to HNC/Degree level (or equivalent).
