Job Role: Senior Project Engineer
Location: Bedfordshire
Type: 6 Month Contract
Rate: Best market rate
Clearance: SC Cleared
Senior Project Engineer
The Senior Project Engineer coordinates planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility. Plans and formulates engineering program; reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Evaluates and approves design changes, specification and drawing releases. Also coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.
Required Skills:
- Experience of Project Engineering in similar environment, or area that has demanded similar skills
- Experience on the use of both Business Management Systems and Product Data Management Systems
- Strong verbal communicator
- Strong report writing capability, with proven track record
- Strong organisational skills, with evidence of formal project reviews co-ordinated and supported.
Desired Skills:
- Working knowledge of SAP Business Management System (or similar)
- Working knowledge of Windchill Product Data Management System (or similar)
- Working knowledge of engineering data pack construction, including detailed engineering drawings
- Engineering knowledge gained through the military business sector, or similar engineering sector (eg Automotive)
