RZ Group is recruiting for a Financial Accountant to be based in Edinburgh on an initial 6 month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing monthly reports and annual financial statements. Experience of managing and monitoring budgets and resources in public sector organisations is essential.
Experience/skills required:
- Relevant Accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA)
- Preparing or auditing resource and accrual accounts on an IFRS basis
- Experience of preparing, managing and monitoring budgets and allocation of resources within a public sector organisation
- Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook
- Knowledge and understanding of current IAS's and IFRS's
- Experience of preparing public sector Financial Statements
