Senior Mobile Applications Developer
Duration: 3 months
Location: Birmingham
EXCLUSIVE OPPORTUNITY: Steria has an opportunity for a Senior Mobile Applications Developer for a 3 month contract based onsite in our Birmingham offices.
The Senior Mobile Applications Developer will support a range of Steria projects.
The Senior Mobile Applications Developer will be responsible for:
- Development of integrated mobile applications, working within an agile project delivery team to contracted scope, time and cost
- As part of a multi-skilled development team, design, code and unit test of mobile solutions to specifications, and to required time, cost and quality
- Leading areas of design and development, including mentoring more junior team members
Senior Mobile Applications Developer Essential Skills:
- Experience of IOS, Android development including delivering applications in to Playstore, App Store
- Leading technical architecture and design of integrated mobile solutions
- Mobile development frameworks such as PhoneGap/Codeover
- Conveying solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Knowledge of developing responsive-design web solutions (HTML5, AJAX, Single Page Web Applications)
- Deep knowledge of SOA, OOP, mobile architectures including 3rd party mobile products and solutions
- Extensive experience Java, HTML, CSS and Javascript development including JSON and XML
- Experience of Javascript frameworks including JQuery, AngularJS, Sencha
- Experience and of UX implementation
- Working in an agile delivery team with tooling to include JIRA, GIT, Ant
Senior Mobile Applications Developer Desirable Skills:
- General Architecture including MVC, SOA, OOP
- Knowledge of mobile and smart-device application market, industry and technology trends
