Technical lead SAP BW (Expert/Architect)
As a highly experienced SAP BW Consultant you will become a key member in the BI core team focused on defining the SAP BW strategy, providing new SAP BW solutions and bringing SAP BW expertise to the BI Unit. Your BI group will mainly work on SAP related data, including integrating with SAP Business Objects, SAP HANA or statistical data (SAP Predictive Analysis and SAP Infinite Insight).
There will be an intense collaboration with the BI groups focused on analytic and data. This joined effort should bring innovation and put BI at a higher level.
Length: 6 months +
Location: Brussels
Start date: mid-September to October
Profile:
- University degree or equivalent by experience (Economics, Commercial Engineer, Civil Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Computer Sciences)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in building cubes, reports on modules like Finance, Controlling, COPA, CRM and HR
- End to end experience in BW - data extraction, data modelling, transformations, BEx Reporting
- Solid skills in ABAP development including user exits, function modules and start/end/expert routines
- At least 2 years in a previous SAP BI architecture role will be required
- Ability to drive requirements gathering, run workshops with key customers to identify KPIs
- Strong functional knowledge to understand business processes and work with functional consultants
- Design technical blueprint and drive development teams
- Basic knowledge of the SAP BusinessObjects' reporting tools and the connectivity towards SAP BW is a must
- Expertise in problem analysis, monitoring and performance tuning
- Effective verbal and written communications skills and effective presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional outlook
