Description
An internationally renowned mutual funds company is seeking a senior developer for their Big Data projects. The right developer will gain experience with the forefront of technology and have the opportunity to collaborate with some of the best developers in the IT sector.
The job:
- Design, implement, integrate and deploy IAM solutions, involving a combination of custom software (Java, .NET, SOA technologies) and vendor products (Sailpoint Identity IQ and/or Oracle IAM platform)
- Lead and implement technology proof-of-concepts' using Sailpoint, Oracle, Novel, etc
- Develop and maintain custom UI/Services software components using Java, XML, Web Services
- Develop and lead data intelligence and analytics initiatives involving datawarehousing, ETL and/or Big Data technologies
- Lead a small team of engineers.
- Support post-implementation issue resolution and deployment within the production environment
- Provide accurate and timely status reporting, including issues/risks prohibiting progress
- Communicate and liaise with on-site and off-site team.
You have:
- 5-6 years of IT development experience using Java .NET and data analytics or Big Data platforms
- 2-3 years Web Services experience using Java, SOA, WCF or similar technologies
- 3+ years of experience leading teams of 2-3 team members from a technical and task management perspective
- Experience working with international off-site teams.
- Strong experience of mentoring junior developers
- Experience with Big Data technology.
