Seeking 3 Emergency Preparedness Trainers to do the following:
  • Instructional design, using the Systematic Approach to training, for emergency preparedness training programs for both electric and gas utilities.
  • Plans, develops, schedules and presents performance-based initial and refresher training programs for emergency preparedness personnel, including management and field personnel.
  • Interfaces with corporate and technical training organization protocols.
  • Ensures accurate training documentation and records with the ability to produce statistics to show status of training programs using multiple databases.
SKILLS:

Requirements:
Experience in training including the ability to perform a needs analyses and to design, develop, and implement lesson plans.
Strong platform experience
Knowledge of instructional methods and techniques, including use of training aids.
Ability to write concisely and effectively.
Strong Computer Skills especially with Excel.
Electric or Gas utility distribution system operations experience, Emergency Preparedness Experience is a plus. Exercise Design and HSEEP Certified is preferred.
A Bachelor's degree desired, and candidates must have 6-9 years of experience.
