FINANCE MANAGER - RETAIL BANKING - LONDON
We have a requirement for a Finance Manager to join a leading retail bank to support their PPI provision model. This is a contract role.
Role Definition
To manage team(s) producing financial information for customers of the finance function, including the operation, maintenance and enhancement of a wide range of production systems.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Part of a small team supporting the PPI provision model, and in particular:
- Interrogating and understanding the provision model complexities and requirements
- Becoming a subject matter expert on the provision calculation methodologies
- Updating and tracking provision assumptions and drivers and understanding their impact as part of the quarterly provision reviews
- Running modelling scenarios around the provision including for capital adequacy purposes
- Working closely with PPI Operations and the PPI Business, developing and enhancing integrity and controls around the data submissions
- Calculating and assessing PPI provision allocations for the various Group legal entities
- Providing technical expertise and knowledge to the rest of the Finance tem around the provision and its drivers
- Statistical modelling

Rate: £400 per day
Duration: 2 months initially
