Description
My large financial client is seeking a temporary senior manager to join the regulatory liaison team to help support and develop the group's key regulatory relationships. They are looking for a candidate with strong financial regulatory knowledge and experience to join their fast growing London office.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Liaising with key business areas to support regulatory engagement, preparing briefings for senior management meetings with regulators
- Monitoring key regulatory developments, dealing with regulatory queries and requests, attending meetings with regulators, project managing major regulatory visits or information requests.
- The role is fast-paced and involves working with senior management stakeholders.
Essential skills
- Good understanding of the UK regulatory environment (PRA/FCA) and financial services industry, who ave actively worked alongside PRA/FCA closely in the past
- Strong stakeholder management skills, good written skills
- Be experienced and confident in preparing meeting and written reports to senior management and regulators
- Ability to provide insight to senior executives clearly and concise.
Experience Needed
- Experience of dealing with UK regulatory bodies, working in a large financial services group
- Regulatory supervisory tools (s166, enforcements, attestations.)
- Working with compliance, conduct and/or operation risk environment.
