Description
A major hospital in the Bay Area of California is searching for an Optimization IT Program Manager. This program manager will be apart of the clinical applications team and will have a key role to develop and maintain the program and application road maps. This person will be in charge of defining, designing, and implementing the optimization program. The program manager will be expected to perform various integrated planning activities across different application portfolios such as imaging, revenue cycle, laboratory and ambulatory. This person is also responsible for providing related training to the clinical application team.Requirements:
*Bachelor's degree
*Master's Degree preferred
*5 or more years experience working with healthcare providers
*Experience working with clinical applications
*Experience with Epic preferred
*Demonstrated ability to develop long term business strategies and plans
*Experience with project delivery life cycle
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Knowledge of global IT outsourcing
*Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint
This is for a 12 month contract to hire position and pays $110-$140 per hour depending on experience.
