Location: North West England
Rate: £30-36 per hour
Length: 6 Months

I have a project requirement for an experienced Senior Software Engineer who has experience working towards DO-178B for a key client in the North West.
The client develops specific products for the Aerospace industry and you will be required to work on an existing project for a large US Aerospace client.
Your role will involve working as a Senior Software Engineer on a business critical DO-178B project. Reporting into the Engineering Manager and Technical Director you will be involved in agreeing deliverables, prioritizing of tasks and providing focus for the team.
The project will cover the full lifecycle therefore will need to have experience in Design, Development, Test and Verification. The majority of the work will be biased towards Test and Verification but the project may also need some designs re-worked.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate when they have had to turn projects around or worked effectively to hit deadlines. Although there is no direct management of staff you will be required to delegate tasks.
