Job Description

We are seeking to grow the Global Custody Security Operations Team based in Park Place, Dublin2 with talented, motivated individuals looking to work in a dynamic and challenging environment. The IPA (Issuing and Paying Agency) operations team are responsible for a varied number of back and Middle Office functions and play a vital role within the firm supporting our clients.

The successful applicant must ensure a high level of client service is provided to both internal and external clients, whilst complying with internal procedures, controls and regulatory requirements.

Primary Responsibilities:
* Ensuring timely settlement for European Medium Term Notes and European Commercial Papers across Euroclear and other clearing houses.
* Input and settlement of trade and cash instructions onto Euroclear.
* Track and pay issuance proceeds/interest and maturity proceeds.
* Review of daily settlements and liaison with agents on any issues.
* Manage failing trades and contacting counterparties for resolve
* Process and transmit money movements in line with the relevant deadlines
* Monitor and process corporate actions
* Perform complex calculations for coupon payments and interest advices
* Track and reconcile funds and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
* Handle daily queries and investigations from various sources:- traders, counterparties, clearing houses and internal departments
* Involvement in Ad hoc projects
* Complete internal/external reporting requirements
* Work closely and develop working relationships with internal areas of production operations, income collections, audit and compliance
* Comply with all policies and procedures and monitor transactions in line with related legal documentation
* Working closely with Common Depository to ensure efficient settlement of trades and distribution of interest proceeds.

Requirements
* IPA specific experience is preferred
* Ability to communicate clearly and precisely in both written and verbal context
* Show a high level of commitment and professional work ethic
* Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
* Excellent time and priority management skills
* Be able to demonstrate a logical approach to problem solving
* Good numerical and computer skills
* Ability to work on own initiative while remaining team focused at all times
* Self-motivated and able to use own initiative
* Target driven and ability to work as part of a team
* Flexibility required and willingness to adapt to frequently changing environment
* Ability to multi task
