Our client is an international leader in semiconductor solutions across a wide range of applications. With particular strength in Connected Car, Cyber Security, Portable & Wearable and the Internet of Things, our client is growing rapidly and looking to attract new talent to the organisation. We are looking for a highly experienced Project Manager to join a fast-paced and growing team working on developments across several different international locations to deliver highly competitive and innovative semiconductor products.
The Role
As a Senior Project Manager you will responsible for setting up and managing complex and high-profile (IC) development projects with strong customer commitment. From concept to completion, you will manage a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, consisting of (IC) design, package development, test & product engineering, product marketing, architects and application engineers to ensure the successful delivery of the project.
The Individual
- Excellent experience in Project management in the semiconductors industry.
- Experience driving ASIC/IC development projects.
- Experience in leading either Automotive, Health or Security projects.
- Manages the project to achieve the project goal with respect to all aspects of product development.
- Offers hands-on approach to drive execution with the teams, manages time, money, information, quality and organization of the project.
- Monitors the progress of the project.
- Responsible for managing best practice across the project.
- Practical approach to Project Management based more on experience than theory.
- Hands on attitude to drive execution across all teams.
- Sees problems before even the project team sees them.
- Expert in risk management and contingency planning.
- Professional qualification in Project Management (PMP, PMI, PRINCE2) is desirable.
