Description
Responsibilities- Work closely with Embedded firmware engineer and control engineer to define detailed functions of solar tracker and power supply application
- Design and implement schematics for motor drive and power supply circuitry
- Design and implement (printed circuit board) PCB layout for motor drive and power supply circuitry
- Manage PCB and system hardware material, develop electrical drawings for electrical system
- Work with contract manufacture to develop manufacture plan for electronic product
- Provide insights and suggestions of software and hardware design improvement to the electronic team
Required Skills/Experiences
- BS or MS in electrical engineering, or computer engineering
- 5+ years' experience of electrical circuitry design and PCB layout
- Previous experiences in design power conversion device
- Previous experiences in large SCADA system
- Familiar with ORCAD and Allegro PCB tool and CIS part management system
- Ability to debug at both board level and system level electrical circuitry
- Skillful with oscilloscope, power meter, spectrum analyzer, and other lab equipment
- Ability to develop electronics system test plan
Desired Skills
- Experience with programming PLC system a plus
- Experience with energy/power management a plus
- Experience with wireless communication system a plus
