My market leading client in the health care industry is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join their rapidly expanding organisation in the Galway.Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will lead the company's supply chain activities in order to:
- Improve tactical supply chain processes; such as strategic sourcing.
- Streamline import procedures; experience with sea freight documentation is beneficial.
- Manage S&OP processes.
- Monitor both internal and external Supply Chain performance with appropriate metrics (includes inventory management and demand planning)
- Anticipate and Identify areas of risk or improvement within the Supply Chain and recommend and implement appropriate solutions.
- Optimize Supply Chain performance and the supplier/customer interface processes.
- Team Management, reporting & communication
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in ERP systems.
- Have previous experience in the Medical Device industry, or similar highly regulated industries.
- Strong planning, time management, process improvement, project management and organisational skills.
- Be able to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain,, Logistics, or Operations required; or MBA / MSc in relevant discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing qualifications beneficial.
