A global pharmaceutical company seeks a Supply Planner to join their growing supply chain team. This is an opportunity to work within a state of the art facility as Supply Planner for the centralised virtual supply chain of this industry leader.

Supply Planner's Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a production capacity model, ensure level loading to deliver agreed product commitments.
  • Execution of the site S&OP process.
  • Develop manufacturing/packaging schedules, in conjunction with operations teams, and ensure execution and delivery performance against the master schedule. Liaise with internal and external customers/suppliers as appropriate to achieve this.
  • Monitor the execution of the schedules. As required develop alternate plans to ensure volume and mix metrics are achieved. Ensure timely communication on progress with appropriate escalation of issues impacting customer orders.
  • Support the implementation of SAP for planning.
  • Ensure that stock obsolescence is kept to a minimum.
  • Support the implementation of the Operational Excellence programme on the site by encouraging your staff to identify, lead and implement improvements.
  • Comply with company and legislative Environment, Health and Safety requirements.
  • Support and execute any other duties as assigned.


Qualifications and requirements:
  • Diploma/Degree qualification ideally in a Supply Chain and or Business related discipline.
  • 5+ years' experience in a high volume, faced paced environment is essential.
  • Start-up experience is a distinct advantage.
  • Strong customer focused mindset with excellent communication skills
  • Previous Customer Service/ Sales Order Management experience an advantage.
  • An SAP user with SAP implementation experience including SD functionality.
  • Excellent mathematical, analytical, diagnostic and communication skills.
