The successful candidate will be the Lead Contract Management within Technology Commercial.

The role will involve building strong relationships with a wide range of internal and external bodies; and utilising best Commercial practices to lead and manage the commercial work stream within Technology NOMS. This means designing the Commercial strategies tendering negotiating & awarding the contracts and contract changes; managing the supplier(s) and resolving the key issues.  You will also have experience of working in a multi supplier environment, delivering end to end solutions and experience of building and maintaining effective relationships with their own team/group, business community, key stakeholders and suppliers; Negotiating with IT suppliers and analysing IT cost models.

Your main Duties and Responsibilities will include:

  • Negotiating and agreeing a range of commercial vehicles in a multi-supplier environment with project staff to put commercial arrangements in place in line with best practice that provide value for money whilst supporting successful delivery
  • Ensuring that all commercial vehicles comply with procurement policy and legislation
  • Reporting progress and preparing commercial updates including any value for money savings achieved to the wider commercial community

It would be advantageous to have worked in the public sector
