Charles River IMS (Investment Management Consultant)

Skills required:

  • 6-10 years work experience; 3 years Charles River Experience
  • Full cycle Charles River requirements development experience
  • Must have experience with best-in-class methods, tools and techniques for defining and documentation of internal and external client needs and associated requirements with Charles River.
  • This includes use case modelling, business process modelling, and formal requirements traceability techniques.
  • Must have experience in requirements analysis techniques, such as workshop facilitation with senior stakeholders
  • Candidates with Charles River Business Analysis, Testing or Development experience considered.

Job description: 

Experienced Charles River IMS consultant required with thorough understanding of multiple asset classes, front/mid/Back Office processes and Charles River.

You will work in projects involving implementation/upgrading  Charles River for trading, portfolio modelling, and compliance.

Tasks:

  • Keep projects on track: S/He must be able to analyze client requirements, monitor project progress, manage issues and risks, identify potential roadblocks and keep projects on track.
  • Performing and directing quality assurance testing of systems and solutions.
  • Facilitating the user acceptance testing (UAT) phase of each assigned project.
  • Assisting in the development of application documentation and user training programs.
  • Coordinating the release of new applications and functionality.

As well, the job holder must leverage his/her  Charles River industry domain experience to assist in challenging and prioritizing the business and client requirements relating to the Charles River implementation.
