Senior Linux Engineer - AWS
Location: Dublin City Centre
Daily Rate Contract: 6 months rolling
Rate: €400 to €450 a day depending on skills and experience.
The business: A rapidly expanding data analytics software house in Dublin would like to hire a highly skilled Linux Systems Engineer.
The job: You will join their Product Development & Operations team and you will be responsible for the automation, build and deployment of their software. You will be working very closely with the software development and cloud operations teams, and be involved with the design of their new software platform.
What you need:
- Experience in a DevOps position with AWS (Amazon Web Services) Essential
- Experience working in a Linux environment
- Jenkins and Gradle
- Software development and Scripting. eg Java or Ruby
- Expertise in using one or more of the following: Amazon Beanstalk, Puppet, Chef/Amazon OpsWorks, CloudFormation
- Open-source monitoring solutions eg Nagios, Ganglia, Sensu, Graphite, Zenoss or CloudWatch
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL or MySQL or other relational databases (ideally on Amazon RDS or EC2) a huge advantage.
