Description
My client, an elite investment bank, based in Midtown Manhattan is looking to add a Financial Recruiter to their expanding Human Resources team. This is a temp to perm contract paying between $30 and $35 per hour.Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process across all levels, business areas, and geographies
- Responsible for interviewing candidates, circulating hire approvals, extending offers, and closing candidates
- Liaise with hiring managers to define recruitment strategies and to ensure a complete understanding of the recruitment process
- Work with external vendors to identify and drive synergies in the attraction and selection of talent, and manage relationships with vendors
- Responsible for direct sourcing and using social media where applicable
- Create and analyze recruitment metrics and distribute to key stakeholders
- Use applicant tracking system (Taleo) to screen resumes and track candidate status
- Manage on-boarding of new hires by initiating drug tests, background checks, and new hire paperwork
- Participate in research and benchmarking projects as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 3 years of prior recruiting experience working in a high volume environment, financial services experience and corporate recruiting experience are a plus
- Prior experience identifying candidates through direct sourcing methods (social media, job boards, internal networks) and working with agencies
- Proficient in Excel & PowerPoint
- Strong communication skills, ability to multi-task, and experience working in a fast-paced unstructured environment is ideal
- Experience using Taleo a plus
