The Enterprise Risk modeling team is tasked with developing algorithms to transform extensive risk data resources into information that identify measure and manage risks. The team will be developing analytics to identify emerging fraud and operational risks, automated techniques to review appraisals and loan applications, and measurement and monitoring of portfolio credit risk.

Responsibilities include:

* Development and operational execution of quantitative/analytic risk models and applications in support enterprise risk management.
* Lead introduction of best practices for extracting risk intelligence from Big Data systems.
* Provide modeling and analytical support to risk management functions within Enterprise Risk Management and the lines of business, functioning as day-to-day technical expert.
* Establishes operational objectives and work plans, and delegates assignments to subordinate managers. Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.
* Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
* Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers.
* Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from, others in sensitive situations, without damage to relationship.

5+ years experience post-doctorate or 8+ years post-MS experience developing, testing and running financial models and valuation tools in support of financial services business
* Advanced degree in an quantitative field, such as Economics, Physics, Statistics, Finance or interdisciplinary analytics disciplines such as computational biology
* Experience in developing statistical models using large, complex data sets
* Strong programming skills in R, SAS, Matlab, or other similar statistical software
* Strong leadership abilities
* Exceptional quantitative, analytical, and organizational skills
* Familiarity with business applications of models
* Experience communicating quantitative results to senior business partners

* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Experience working cross functionally, understanding business needs as well as risk management imperatives
* Experience specifically with consumer fraud modeling or real estate risk analytics.
