My client has an excellent opportunity for an IT Programme Manager on a 6 month contract based in South Dublin.
Role Description:
The Programme Manager will take on complete responsibility for the schedule and performance or one or more projects and/or programmes.
Key accountabilities:
- Coordinate Cyber initiatives across key stakeholders to establish programme scope and understand schedule requirements
- Identify any areas of risk and/or opportunity, manage conflicts and create solutions acceptable to all parties involved
- Develop, maintain, edit and publish programme/project documentation - scope, definitions, schedules, risk management reports and resource estimates
- Communicate programme status, decisions, actions along with risk areas and mitigation plans
Knowledge/Qualifications/Experience required:
- Good understanding of IT Security practices, methodologies, tools and trends
- Strong understanding of Project/Programme management tools (MS Project or Visio) and process
- Good understanding of Firewalls and network border protection technologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- 10 years' minimum experience with a Bachelor's degree
- Qualified or working towards CISSP, CISM or CISA
- Qualified in or working towards ITIL, Prince2 or PMP
