Description

Duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to providing support for various promotional and outreach projects which includes training seminars and event coordination, registration and tracking and reporting. Also assist with scheduling project meetings, minutes of meetings, monitoring timelines and maintaining project tracking spread sheets. Serve as liaison between event vendors, the marketing department and various marketing services. Validate, log and follow-up on requests for events, training seminars, marketing information, support and materials. Internal and external correspondence and proofreading.

SKILLS:

Skills and specifications include a basic understanding of event management, marketing principles and processes. The successful candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills and be detail oriented. Must have corporate experience, experience planning events and be able to work independently. Candidate must have excellent-to-expert skill level with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. A Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications is preferred. Years Experience: 3-5 years.
