Brief

Clearwater is a new online service from WorldPay. The service will allow small to medium sized E-commerce businesses worldwide to start accepting payments from their website within hours. Currently, we are set up as an entrepreneurial team with WorldPay with end-to-end responsibility to deliver a commercial launch in October.

One of the largest responsibilities of the current team is ensuring that our merchant integrations run smoothly and without issue. This means working directly with developers, start-ups and small online businesses to ensure we provide the world's easiest payment platform integration.

This role holds day to day responsibilities for direct customer integration and ensures that our code libraries and documentation are up to date, taking feedback from customers and feeding it back into Product & Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Works with client developers supporting them with their integration of our code libraries into their websites.
  • Takes ownership of technical customer issues, and works with the development team to satisfy and resolve issues and facilitate fast future integrations.
  • Ensuring that the client facing code libraries and documentation are simple and easy to implement and performing continuous improvement to these.
  • Log and track feedback, feature requests and issues from customers - feeds these back for roadmap planning.

Experience

Required

  • Client facing technical support experience; is able to support developers as they integrate our service with their platform.
  • Web Integration support experience ideally with a varied technical background- Java, Ruby, PHP, or Python. We support multi platform code libraries, so broad rather than deep technical skills are required.
  • Understands API concepts, and how to integrate services with front and Back End applications; is familiar with JSON objects.

Desirable

  • Experience of working in a online business, ideally providing financial trades or transfers; of particular interest are payment companies, merchant providers.
  • Experience of implementing Payment Service Providers as part of a prior role; is familiar with building transactional resilience for multi-PSP operations eg gaming/E-commerce.
  • Experience of tokenisation services and other card processing security.
