Enclipse Corporation has an opportunity for an experienced Oracle Business Intelligence ETL Developer for a 9 month project with a large state agency in California. This is a consulting opportunity for someone with solid technical and business skills, who is willing to work hard for a great hourly rate and a chance to expand their skills with a well-known state government entity in California.

Scope of the project:

Lead or participate in data requirement gathering and use case meetings to determine and document specific data needs for customers.

Based on customer data needs, determine the appropriate data sources, identify and communicate data integrity risks, mitigate such risks, and provide agreed upon result sets.

Using appropriate data manipulation languages (DML), extract result sets suitable for customer consumption. DML's include, but not limited to, SQL and PL/SQL.

Provide high quality data result sets by testing data through data quality tools and/or processes.

Analyze data issues in source and/or target repositories, recommend solutions or workarounds, and provide work effort estimates.

Provide feedback to the BI Delivery team, and any units within, on their work products or activities that may impact the overall successful delivery of services.

Assist any customer team with answering business or technical-related questions

Lead and/or assist in the review of SQL, PL/SQL or other DMLs to ensure correctness, efficiency and effectiveness.

Assist the BI Data Quality team in their review and testing of data integrity, provide feedback and fix extract/transformation logic, as necessary.

Elicit requirements, and perform data collection, cleansing, transformation, and loading to populate facts and dimensions for the data warehouse.

Fix data anomalies in BI environments.

Work closely with the BI team to provide and validate data extract services.
Preferred skills:
-
5 years' experience with Oracle SQL.

5 years' experience with Oracle PL/SQL

5 years' experience with data analysis efforts.

5 years' experience with data warehousing efforts.

3 years' experience with working with both business and technical staff to prioritize and develop data extracts.

Minimum 1 year experience with analysing data within a very large/complex retirement system.

Experience with Microsoft Office suite

Knowledge of California agency business units and their data requirements
Education:
