Electronics Engineer, PCB Design, Cadence, Perth, 6 months(Electronics, PBC, Schematic, Cadence, Analogue, Digital)
An Electronics Engineer is required for a six month contract based in Perth, Scotland to work on the redesign of 2 PCBs and to complete the subsequent testing of the boards when complete.
With new specifications drawn up for improved functionality of my client's boards, you'll be responsible for completing the new layout and schematic entry using their systems (Cadence Allegro). One of the boards is orientated around a 3G module, where they're looking for the addition of a USB port, whilst maintain the size of the PCB, and the other board is a heat management circuit, based around an 8051 microcontroller. This heat management board currently runs off 2 sensors, and we're aiming to get this up to six to improve responsiveness and functionality.

-Electronic design experience - both analogue and digital electronics
-PCB layout and schematic capture
-Cadence Allegro experience is beneficial but proven experience with multiple CAD packages will be considered
-Embedded C on micros is desirable but not essential to the role
