C# / C++ Software Engineer (C#, C++), East Midlands, 6-MonthsMy C# / C++ Engineering client are looking for a Senior C# / C++ Software Engineer to work in a Support Developer capacity on a number of highly technical monitoring systems written in C# and C++. This really is a technical role and whilst there will be development work there will also be fixing of issues / troubleshooting and bug fixing in C# and C++.
The C#/ C++ systems are real-time monitoring systems used within mission critical environments. You will be working on the higher level C# software but also lower level protocol and device driver work using C++. This may even go down to the hardware interfacing level and looking at communication protocols etc using C++. These are multithreaded systems with multiple data feeds so experience in that area would be useful.
This really is an interesting C# / C++ role in a highly successful and also aggressively expanding company working with cutting edge C# / C++ technology where there is also a high likelihood of extension.
Key Skills:
- C# / C++
- Ability to bug-fix / troubleshoot highly technical problems
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Experience within C# / C++ and Telecoms or Telephony would be useful but not essential
Location: East Midlands
Rate: Up to £300 / Day
Duration: 6-Months initial
