Computer Futures are currently seeking an Infrastructure Security Architect for one a leading IT organisation in Bath. The role is based within their head office and you will be a key and influential figure within their very successful Infrastructure Team.
You will be providing leadership in developing strategies, standards and policies to protect the group infrastructure from potential hackers and other technological security breaches.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Definition and maintenance of an infrastructure security strategy and architecture, Infrastructure Security Standards and Policies.
- Regular security assessments and audits of the technical infrastructure.
- Regular network intrusion tests at a data centre and site level.
- Maintaining a focus on new or changing security threats, to ensure the evolution of the Infrastructure Security Standards and Policies, and to ensure ongoing group-wide protection.
- Monitor security technology trends and requirements and pro-actively counsel IS departments.
- Manage the delivery of Infrastructure Security related projects, either as a work stream within a larger infrastructure project or as a standalone implementation.
Contribute ideas and activities into the development and overall effectiveness of the Infrastructure team
You will also take ownership of tasks and drive to completion and will have the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong relationship management, organisational and communication skills are essential for this role, as is the proficiency in spoken and written English.
The day rate is paying between £400 - £500 per day with a contract lasting 6 months.
