WAS Engineer - WebSphere Application Server - Linux
Our client an well known financial institution is looking for a skilled WAS Administrator to join their infrastructure team in Zeist (Netherlands).
In this role you will be expected to deploy and manage multiple applications (Java, J2EE) on WAS 8.5 and Linux. you will be responsible for performance tuning, automating deployments and setting up application environments.
Requirements:
- Experience with WebSphere Application Server Infrastructure in the past 3 years.
- Recent experience with WAS 8.5
- Min bachelor degree in IT
- Min 3 years' experience with Red Hat Linux (Min RHCSA)
- Basic knowledge of supporting tools for capacity, performance management and monitoring
- Knowledge of IT processes like ITIL and Prince 2
Nice to have:
- Knowledge and experience with architecting and maintaining of a continuous integration environment (tools: Jenkins, Maven, Nexus, Fitness)
