for an IT Project Lead with Regulatory Reporting Experience (f/m)

Project environment

We are looking for an IT project manager to support our client, a Swiss Bank in Zurich.

Tasks

• Project Management will be a key task.
• Strictly adhere to the Project Methodology (defining & agreeing with Business on deliverables, milestones, following rigid scope & cost control, issue & risk management processes).
• Collaborating with Solution Architect and Domain.
• Responsible at eye-level to define non-functional requirements.
• Setting-up the sourcing approach for the design & implementation phase (roles & responsibilities of the consultancy branch of the vendor vs. roles & responsibilities of customers internal ams).
• With the support of the Solution Architect – elaborate solution, which reduces sunk costs caused by replacement of the core banking system in a later stage as much as possible (i.e. after introduction of the new regulatory reporting solution).
• Teaming-up with other projects like FATCA and EMIR in order to identify potential solution synergies, dependencies and sharing of project costs (these projects are also looking for a reporting solution and the vendors our customer is evaluating are offering such modules).
• Work in close collaboration with costumers’ office in Asia, which is currently implementing a local regulatory reporting solution based on the same product. Identify synergies e.g. sharing designs, implementation experience, resources. The current system is run and maintained outside of IT.
• Elaborate / introduce a proper operating model for the target solution.


Requirements

• Several years’ experience in Project Management, particularly planning, organising, communication and coordination, methodological strength.
• High abilities in leadership and stakeholder management.
• Experience with implementation of Regulatory Reports for the Swiss Authorities (SNB reporting).
• Experience with integration of 3rd Party Solutions for Regulatory Reporting (e.g. FIRE, AxiomSL) in Core Banking Systems.
• Know-how and experience to set-up a proper framework for effort estimation of the project design & implementation phase based on measurable deliverables.
• Equivalent IPMA or PMP certificated.
• Fluent in German and English.
