Description
My client, an NHS organisation based in East of England are looking for a Deputy Head of Contracts to join their ever growing & vibrant team.The contract will be 3 months initially & they are looking for some one to start immediately.
Duties:
- Negotiate new contracts ensuring value for money for the organisation
- Implement new systems under the Head of Contracts
- Manage a team of 2 Contract Analysts
- To find solutions between the organisation & providers & implement them
- Ensure general flow of department is smooth
- Conduct meetings to address any issues with contracts not being adhered to
Requirements:
- MUST be a car driver as will be expected to matrix between sites
- Strong relationship building skills
- Great communicator
- Experience of working at a senior level within an NHS contracts team
- Strong negotiation skills
- Experience of managing big projects
- Prince2 qualification would be useful
- Logical thinker
- Self starter, some one who can come in & take the lead from the start
