My client are looking to heavily invest in their R&D department seeking experienced software engineers who can apply themselves instantly. My client design a range of complex electronic products that are used all over the world. A lot of their products are focused on Digital Video / MPEG products and instrumentation. They are easily commutable from Oxford, Buckingham, Banbury and Aylesbury. The Role As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer - C / Linux you will be involved in the new product development lifecycle on a range of products. It will be your responsibility to be a senior member of the engineering development team, participate in all parts of the product life cycle, be a key member of the design team applying your development skills in embedded C within a Linux RTOS. You must have the ability to work under minimal supervision. You MUST have experience in embedded software development. Skills As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer - C / Linux you will have a number of key skills: Degree educated in an engineering discipline Several years' commercial experience in Embedded C software. Good Linux experience Experience of RTOS Experience with interfaces such as USB, Ethernet, CAN SPI or I2C.
