Our tier-1 global banking client is presently in search of an Internal Audit Director with EMEA Equities experience to join their London office. The vacancy offers: a great opportunity to gain global exposure of the Group's Capital Markets cluster (Equities business in particular including sales, trading financing and market-making), opportunity to travel, full oversight of projects from start to finish, and engage in influential stakeholder relationships - globally.The successful candidate will have the successful track record as an Equities Auditor in a tier-1 bank with the following capabilities;
- Functional knowledge of equity products, systems and regulations.
- BA/BS or equivalent and related certifications (CPA, ACA, CFA, CIA, CISA or similar)
- Senior level experience in a related role with experience in business, functional and people management
- Lead the scoping and execution of the overall audit process.
- Experience of directing all aspects of Equities audit activities (development, maintenance, risk assessment, Business Monitoring)
- Specific subject matter expertise regarding control disciplines and a solid business understanding of Equities products.
- Demonstrates experience in managing teams and managing integrated internal audit and assurance delivery within a matrix reporting environment.
- Effective negotiation skills, articulate and effective communicator, both orally and in writing, with an energetic, charismatic and approachable style.
- Strong interpersonal skills for interfacing with all levels of internal and external audit and management.
