An IT Risk Director is sought after to join Real Staffing's Canary Wharf based investment banking client. The IT Risk Director will sit within the broader Risk function alongside the Ops Risk offering.The bank operate across over 50 countries, employ in excess of 140,000 people worldwide and are seen as a leading Top Tier provider of a range of banking products outside of their IB offering.
As Tech Risk Director / Lead you will be responsible for directing and delivery of IT Risk activities within the Global Technology Infrastructure Services function this will include, the risk mitigation agenda, engaging with regulators, assuming accountability for the design, quality delivery and service establishment of all Risk Assessment activities.
As would be expected of any IT Risk Director the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a track record of;
*Establishing, fostering and building successful (ExCo) relationships with key Senior Stakeholder across, the IT, Risk, Finance and Front Office landscapes
* Leading teams of varying sizes in Risk, IT and/or Finance environments
* The capabilities to design and execute Risk strategy and execution
Key competencies to be held by the successful IT Risk Director will include, the ability to lead, inspire, influence, negotiate and deliver in the fast moving and dynamic environment that is synonymous with Investment Banking and Risk mitigation.
All candidates must have a technical IT based background and be able to understand and communicate in line with the markets technical expectations.
