Mechanical Design Engineer - Aberdeen. £45,000 - £50,000Progressive Global Energy has been tasked by a key account in Aberdeen to source an experienced Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
The company are a well established, renowned service company that specialise in the design and manufacture of intervention products.
This innovative company are currently looking to expand their team and the Design Engineer will play a pivotal role in delivering on projects within tight time-frames in line with client's niche requirements.

Your main duties will include:
- Produce engineering designs and solutions
- Prepare all engineering documentations including 2D and 3D drawings, manuals, reports and calculations
- Guide and mentor junior members of the design team
- Planning and leading design projects with minimal supervision
- You will be involved in test programs and FAT
- Provide technical assistance to the sales and marketing teams
Experience and qualifications you need for this position:
- Engineering degree or HND in engineering along with relevant experience
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment
- Experience working with wireline product lines is very advantageous although other product knowledge may be considered
