Whitehall Resources is currently looking for: SAP ABAP- SNC Developer
SAP ABAP developer with experience in SAP SNC Supply Network Collaboration, familiar with Webdynpro ABAP and ABAP OO, SAP Proxy interface knowledge and knowledge about SAP interface management
Specifying, designing, developing and implementing low-level software for systems based on instrumentation and control technology or robotics.
Creating complex algorithms, eg for parallel or distributed processes in time-critical systems.
Main Tasks
- Assessing new or modified requirements with respect to technical feasibility and complexity and the impact on current and planned systems, standards and guidelines (requirements engineering)
- Assessing the complexity and the impact on a current/planned system
- Exploring solution alternatives and verifiy their feasibility
- Defining required technical resources, software architecture, user interface and database system.
- Creating or selecting the most suitable methods, techniques, standards, guidelines and tools for software development.
- Creating models for data, functions and/or objects
- Implementing software
- Assessing software solutions from the perspectives of security risk, implementing and executing the required procedures for risk analysis in software systems.
- Defining and agreeing service levels for application maintenance
- Analysis of problems, providing third level support, definition and implementation of the escalation procedures.
- Defining versions of products, software and releases
List of specific tasks/responsibilities
- Performs support for the SAP SNC (Supply Network Collaboration) business users by responding to support desk tickets, tracking problems/issues, and following up with users (1st line of support).
- Designs technical architecture of new solutions in the area of SAP SNC
- Performs development, testing and implementation of application solutions according to Development Standards and Practices, including SAP and other business systems.
- Documents implemented solutions
- Performs upgrades to SAP & other internally developed business systems.
- Collaborates with IT colleagues on blueprinting new developments and post implementation support.
- Monitors batch jobs
List of required skills
TECHNICAL
Required working knowledge of SAP SNC (minimum 1-2 years experience preferred)
Experience with Core Interface Model (transfer of data from ERP to SNC) and ability to analyze and resolve related problems
Required experience in SAP ABAP and ABAP OO development interfaces. WebDynpro4ABAP will be an advantage.
cFolders knowledge would be beneficial but not required
Ability to process authorization requests for password changes and new users of SAP SNC
Understands the SAP PI Monitor and ability to analyze and resolve XML message related problems
Understands the PROACT (Production Activity and Inventory) Reports and be able to run on request
SOFT
- Good communication skills - will liaise with SAP Authorization Team and SAP PI Teams and end-users
- Good analytic skills
- Ability to work in a global environment with strong ability to interface with colleagues and customers across different time zones and cultures.
