Description
Penta Consulting are currently looking for 2 Senior Informatica ETL Developer's to be working based in Dubai, this will be a 9 month engagement.
Please see below the criteria required in order to be considered:
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
Minimum 3 years in Telco (essential criteria)
5 years of experience with Informatica, and at least one other (essential criteria)
PDO expertise (essential criteria)
Minimum 6 years of DWH & Teradata Experience
Teradata cLDM Experience is a plus
7+ years of relevant work experience.
Advanced proficiency in software development, software design, software testing, software configuration management, software engineering tools and software quality.
Advanced skills in writing, troubleshooting and optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures, table structures, and triggers in Unix, Linux, or Windows environment.
Knowledge of database internals; partitioning indexes; star schema optimization; parallel queries.
Informatica Certified Professional (optional)
Fluency in SQL.
Ability to design data warehousing solutions that can take large volumes of data and rapidly generate meaningful reports.
Thorough knowledge of database design and tuning with standard SQL tools.
Strong communication and teamwork skills to interface with development team members,
Business analysts and project management. Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Able to apply broad work experience and knowledge when analysing complex problems. Must be able consistently identify critical elements, variables and alternatives to develop solutions.
Experience in identifying, analysing and translating business requirements into conceptual, logical and physical data models in complex, multi-application environments.
Exposure to other DWH MPP solutions (Greenplum, Netezza, Vertica) is a consequential advantage
