My client a market leader in their field have a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Editor/ Proof-reader to join their team on a contract basis.
The role will work as part of the wider team - proof reading all literature (including brochures, flyers, additional sales representative information). As well as a proven ability of excellent attention to detail, you will need to be able to manage multiple priorities and work load.
The print team are the end of the line in the marketing workflow, therefore the successful candidate will need to be able to push back and follow up with the teams through successful relationship building to influence.
Key accountabilities:
- Accountable for checking brochure copy against Copywriter PDF
- Accountable for completing the editorial review
- Accountable for the final quality check/review prior to sign off at the Final Look Review
- Responsible for checking the Blueprint on the Printer Website and for clicking through and signing off each spread
- Check print pieces for grammar, spelling and syntax of copy and for alignment with internal MAPs system (prices products page order etc)
- Responsible for making sure every piece handled is legally approved before sign off.
- Ensure all prices, savings, unit prices, special deals/offers, ordering information, images; legal disclaimers and product information are correct and clear to the customer.
- Responsible for keeping to the schedule milestones and communicating any issues to line manager
